October 11, 2002 - The Trip to Oregon     Pictures
I just spent 3 wonderful days in Oregon with Ericka and her children. The weather was beautiful, the kids seemed to like me (most of the time), we had a great time, and I really enjoyed hanging out with Ericka. The only way it could have been better is if I'd had more time, and had gotten enough sleep during the trip. I'm exhausted.

Her youngest son is Duncan, and he's 3 years old. After a few hours of calling me "Him", he finally worked his way up to calling me "Plank". It's pretty cute, and a vast improvement from "Buh" during the last trip. Tyler seemed ready for me as soon as he first saw me. He was a lot calmer in general than Duncan, but when I got him riled up (which I tend to do pretty quickly), he was like bouncing off the walls.

Overall, a great trip. I'm too tired to think of anymore details right now though. ;)
